1. Watch the First ‘Wonder Woman’ Trailer Featuring Gal Gadot as the DC Comics Heroine | Flavorwire
“The trailer reveals Wonder Woman’s lasso and shield in action, with a little humor thrown in for good measure. A twist on the Wonder Woman theme song plays during the trailer’s end. It’s also nice to see some color in her costume (more evident in the movie’s new poster), which was darker than dark for her appearance in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman.”

The new poster and trailer debuted at San Diego Comic Con a few weekends ago, well worth the wait.

2. Arrow‘s Katie Cassidy Now a Series Regular Across All CW Hero Shows | tvline
“Katie Cassidy is the latest Berlantiverse actor to ink one of those cool new deals, by which she is now a series regular across multiple CW superhero shows — namely The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and her original stomping grounds, Arrow (on which she will appear in the Season 5 premiere).”

Just like John Barrowman a few weeks earlier, the CW Berlantiverse is getting team players to move across shows without a hitch.

3. This Woman Reacted to Her New Racist Workplace Dress Code in the Best Possible Way | mic.com
“June J Rivas learned this last week after her boss complained first about her wearing a ponytail to work, and then wearing a headscarf.

“So my boss didn’t like me wearing my hair in a ponytail every day … nor my hair in a scarf … nor my hair in pigtails,” Rivas, who Mic has reached out to for comment, wrote on Facebook, in a post that has now been deleted.”

Target complaints about workplace dress code, no problem, June J Rivas just cosplays at work.

4. Rejoice, Kamala Khan Is Finally Getting a Ms. Marvel Action Figure | io9
“Revealed at this morning’s Hasbro Breakfast at San Diego Comic-Con, Kamala is joining Hasbro’s line of 6-inch-scaled Marvel Legends figures. Other toys on display included figures of the classic Green Goblin, Billy Braddock’s Spider-UK, and even the first figures of Stephen Strange and Baron Mordo from the Doctor Strange movie—but really, the jewel in plastic crown is, without a doubt, Ms. Marvel.”

Kamala Khan AKA Ms. Marvel is getting her own figure, check out for more shots and details on this developing story.

5. Jupiter Ascending is A Chilling Look at Our Possible Future, in More Ways Than One | Tor
“Jupiter Ascending was one of those movies that seemed to come out of nowhere. Its plot was thin on logic at times, and its scenery chewing was a marvel to behold. The film was pure space opera in an era that doesn’t often do space operas unless they are known quantities. It was a genre film with no franchise to back up or reboot. It confused and annoyed a lot of people.

But for some, it was the Holy Grail of everything they ever wanted in a movie and hadn’t known to ask for.”

Jupiter Ascending revisited, why it should have been a trilogy.
